CHEVRON CAREERS REFRESH
I began my work with Chevron as a 2020 virtual intern for their recruitment department, and I stayed on through 2020 as a social media specialist. My main goal was to revamp and increase the Chevron Careers’ social media presence. My strategy began with internal and external research and trend forecasting. I was able to identify the main areas of focus to transform Chevron Careers’ social media. With these areas in mind, I created a social media posting plan to focus on consistency. The main strategy for upgrading the design was to introduce more color (by topic), platform specific formatting, and interactive elements. I then created templates for each type of content within each social media platform. The content of the posts ranged from hiring tips and company announcements to personal highlights and true or false trivia games.
